HOLY WATER: GOD HAS GIVEN IT EVERYWHERE IN THE UNIVERSE

HOLY WATER : god gave it from skies to the mankind! Science also proves!

The Mystery;

How planet earth has so much water?

The mystery deepens considering that earth formed as a very hot planet like Venus or Mercury.  The periodic rains/snowfall  can only partially explain.   Well, all along, the religions were  saying that it is the almighty who has given us this spectacular downpour of water from skies.  Now, scientific studies also support this belief.
 Herschel Mission:
Herschel is a European Space Agency cornerstone mission launched in 2009, carrying science instruments provided by consortia of European institutes and with Technical Collaboration of NASA.

The findings:
The mission has detected for the first time cold water vapor enveloping a dusty disk around a young star.

The star with this waterlogged disk, called TW Hydrae, is 10 million years old and located about 175 light-years away from Earth, in the constellation Hydra. This disk, which is poised to develop into a solar system, contains great quantities of water, suggesting that water-covered planets like Earth may be common in the universe.

"Our observations of this cold vapor indicate enough water exists in the disk to fill thousands of Earth oceans," said astronomer Michiel Hogerheijde of Leiden Observatory in The Netherlands, the lead author of the findings. As the new solar system evolves, icy comets are likely to deposit much of the water they contain on freshly created worlds through impacts, giving rise to oceans.

Further evidences:
Herschel Space Observatory measured  that comet Hartley 2 of distant Kuiper Belt  contains water with the same chemical signature as Earth's oceans. This remote region of the solar system, some 30 to 50 times as far away as the distance between Earth and the sun, is home to icy, rocky bodies including Pluto, other dwarf planets and innumerable comets.

"Our results with Herschel suggest that comets could have played a major role in bringing vast amounts of water to an early Earth," said Dariusz Lis, senior research associate in physics at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. "This finding substantially expands the reservoir of Earth ocean-like water in the solar system to now include icy bodies originating in the Kuiper Belt."

waterfromcomets
Herschel detected the signature of vaporized water in this coma and Hartley 2 possessed half as much "heavy water" as other comets analyzed to date.  Astronomers had concluded that the contribution by comets to Earth's total water volume stood at approximately 10 percent. The new results, however, point to Kuiper Belt comets bringing much larger volumes of water to earth.

 The Significance:
Astronomers believe there are many stars similar to TW Hydrae with waterlogged discs.  And there are many planets in this universe.   Result:  This Universe is full of planets with  seas. And no other chemical supports formation of life like water.

So…there are many earthlike planets brimming with life in this universe.  Only incredible distances are preventing in between……..  Be that…

What will be the next finding!

WILL THE WORLD END IN 2012

  1. WORLD WILL NOT END IN 2012, SAY THE NASA SCIENTISTS!

Remember the Y2K scare?  Rumors were afloat that flights will crash mid air ,  Banks will close and so on.
  • Wild predictions say  that solar flares and changes in earth’s core and shifting of poles will bring in the ultimate catastrophe!
  • Did you  forget the blockbuster movie 2012?
2012

Suddenly, 2012 doomsday predictions became profitable business.
But let us here what the Scientists community from NASA and other Scientists  say:

Question (Q): Are there any threats to the Earth in 2012?

Many Internet websites say the world will end in December 2012.
EARTH ENDS IN 2012
Answer (A): Nothing bad will happen to the Earth in 2012. Our planet has been getting along just fine for more than 4 billion years, and credible scientists worldwide know of no threat associated with 2012.

Q: What is the origin of the prediction that the world will end in 2012?
 MAYAN PREDICTION
A: The story started with claims that Nibiru, a supposed planet discovered by the Sumerians, is headed toward Earth. This catastrophe was initially predicted for May 2003, but when nothing happened the doomsday date was moved forward to December 2012. Then these two fables were linked to the end of one of the cycles in the ancient Mayan calendar at the winter solstice in 2012 -- hence the predicted doomsday date of December 21, 2012.

Q: Does the Mayan calendar end in December 2012?
A: Just as the calendar you have on your kitchen wall does not cease to exist after December 31, the Mayan calendar does not cease to exist on December 21, 2012. This date is the end of the Mayan long-count period but then -- just as your calendar begins again on January 1 -- another long-count period begins for the Mayan calendar.

Q: Could phenomena occur where planets align in a way that impacts Earth?
PLANETARY ALIGNMENTS IN 2012
A: There are no planetary alignments in the next few decades, Earth will not cross the galactic plane in 2012, and even if these alignments were to occur, their effects on the Earth would be negligible. Each December the Earth and sun align with the approximate center of the Milky Way Galaxy but that is an annual event of no consequence.
MILKY WAY GALAXY

Q: Is there a planet or brown dwarf called Nibiru or Planet X or Eris that is approaching the Earth and threatening our planet with widespread destruction?
Will the world end in 2012?
A: Nibiru and other stories about wayward planets are an Internet hoax. There is no factual basis for these claims. If Nibiru or Planet X were real and headed for an encounter with the Earth in 2012, astronomers would ave been tracking it for at least the past decade, and it would be visible by now to the naked eye. Obviously, it does not exist. Eris is real, but it is a dwarf planet similar to Pluto that will remain in the outer solar system; the closest it can come to Earth is about 4 billion miles.

Q: What is the polar shift theory? Is it true that the earth’s crust does a 180-degree rotation around the core in a matter of days if not hours?
POLAR SHIFT
A: A reversal in the rotation of Earth is impossible. There are slow movements of the continents (for example Antarctica was near the equator hundreds of millions of years ago), but that is irrelevant to claims of reversal of the rotational poles. However, many of the disaster websites pull a bait-and-shift to fool people. They claim a relationship between the rotation and the magnetic polarity of Earth, which does change irregularly, with a magnetic reversal taking place every 400,000 years on average. As far as we know, such a magnetic reversal doesn’t cause any harm to life on Earth. A magnetic reversal is very unlikely to happen in the next few millennia, anyway.

Q: Is the Earth in danger of being hit by a meteor in 2012?

ASTEROID

  1. A: The Earth has always been subject to impacts by comets and asteroids, although big hits are very rare. The last big impact was 65 million years ago, and that led to the extinction of the dinosaurs.NASA astronomers PREDICTED that there are no threatening asteroids as large as the one that killed the dinosaurs.  Nothing is predicted to hit in 2012.

Q: How do NASA scientists feel about claims of pending doomsday?
    WORLD ENDS IN 2012

    • A: For any claims of disaster there is no credible evidence for any of the assertions made in support of unusual events taking place in December 2012.

Q: Is there a danger from giant solar storms predicted for 2012?
    SOLAR STORM
A: Solar activity has a regular cycle, with peaks approximately every 11 years. Near these activity peaks, solar flares can cause some interruption of satellite communications, although engineers are learning how to build electronics that are protected against most solar storms. But there is no special risk associated with 2012. The next solar maximum will occur in the 2012-2014 time frame and is predicted to be an average solar cycle, no different than previous cycles throughout history.
    Conclusion:
Our Sun is a middle aged star.  Sun, reaching its final stages,  expands and explodes roasting all his planets.
But that may take another  3 billion years from now!
    SOLAR EXPANSION
Or entire solar system may get wiped out by Supernova explosions at any corner of our galaxy or nearby galaxies.
    SUPERNOVA
But  any such events happening in next 1000 years or so could have been predicted by Scientists by now and no such predictions!
So, sit back, relax and enjoy

    earthlike planets

In a revelation that may change our understanding of space forever, the American Astronomical Society announced that five new planets have been discovered orbiting close to their stars, in our own galaxy.

The findings are the works of the $ 591 M Kepler space telescope which has been scanning some 156 thousand stars for planets within 3000 light years of earth.

William Borucki of NASA's Ames Research Center told reporters that four “roaster" planets, ones larger than Neptune, are orbiting extremely close to their stars. The planets are 1.3 to 1.5 times wider than our own Jupiter, while the last one, nicknamed dubbed Kepler-4b, is only about 0.6 times as wide as Jupiter and weighs only about 8 percent as much.

Kepler detects planets by spotting light-dipping eclipses of stars by their companion planets. When the planets are closer to the stars, they are easier to detect. However, this usually means they are going to be “roasters” like the ones just discovered. These planets orbit their stars once within every four Earth days. And because of they are so close to their stars, they can reach temperatures above 2,240 degrees Fahrenheit.

Kepler scientists hope to find more Earth-like planets in the future. By utilizing the satellite’s optics, the team has determined it will be able to spot any Earth-like planets with 99 percent certainty.

This announcement comes as more than 3,500 astrophysicists, planetary scientists, and science journalists converge on Washington for the 215th meeting of the American Astronomical Society.
